For three days, August 5-7, high school athletes throughout New England are invited to Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy Mass for a 360 Total Athlete Clinic hosted by Fellowship of Christian Athletes. FCA and body coaches from the TB12 Foundation will help your athlete connect the body, mind, and soul to become a Total Athlete. $149 covers their room, food and training. This morning I found myself meditating on the emotion, wonder and confusion that ensued after being told "you have been declared free". Certainly, this is nothing I could ever come close to rationalizing personally but as close as I was able to get within my own heart was enough to realize how worthy of celebration this monumental time in history is. Inky Johnson's 8th grade math teacher and coach was told to stop sharing Jesus with Inky, or else they would have to fire him. The coach's response was, "Then you will have to fire me because Inky's life was worth it." That coach is still teaching and coaching at the school. We’re looking forward to the 2022 camp season around the Northeast Region, Stay Tuned! We are celebrating the incredible movement of God on fields and courts across the globe through FCA Camps! Thousands of lives were transformed by Jesus Christ this past summer through the investment of our staff, coaches, Huddle leaders and volunteers. In 2021, FCA hosted 697 camps--457 in the U.S. and 240 International--and 57,613 total campers around the world. Camps are a time of "inspiration and perspiration" for athletes and coaches who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training. The 2021 theme, PURSUE, taught campers that God pursues us, loves us and accepts us.
