2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God

were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

It is a true honor and blessing to have been called to serve with an amazing, Kingdom-minded, ministry like Fellowship of Christian Athletes. My role is to build the firm foundation for this ministry to thrive in Central & Western Massachusetts for many years to come.

The “firm foundation” will consist of four pillars:

  • Vision-Led Board Members
  • Servant-Leader Coaches
  • Kingdom-Minded Financial Partners
  • Mission-Minded Staff

If you are anything like me, the fact that there are kids and young adults walking through our streets and in our schools who have never heard the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, is unacceptable.

Sports is the very thing that has taken our families and our youth away from the church. Well, if they are not going to come to church because of sports …we are going to bring church to them through sports.

You financial investment in my calling is an investment in the entire Central & Western Massachusetts mission that is committed to engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes with the truth of our savior and the resources to pass that message on in their schools, in their communities and on their teams.

I would be honored to call you a teammate in this urgent mission to bring the gospel to our youth.

Fellowship of Christian athletes is an incredible organization which presents the opportunity to share Jesus in the exact field that is pulling people away from the church. More than ever athletes and parents are putting the importance on athletics over a relationship with Christ.

So, what does FCA do and what’s my goal in partnering with them? It is simple, if athletes won’t go to church, it’s our goal to bring it to them.

Here in Massachusetts, Fellowship of Christian athletes is already doing amazing works having multiple bible studies and prayer groups happening in some of our local high schools and on college campuses.

The goal is to engage coaches to empower the athletes to live a life for Christ. A coach has far more influence with these athletes and spends far more time with them then any FCA staff member will. If we can get coaches to lead bible studies, be outspoken about their faith and lead a sports program while showing the love of Jesus, then all bets are off of what God can do through athletics!

Your support is not just an investment in me, but more, it is and investment in the Kingdom of Heaven. Through your generous giving athletes all over Western Massachusetts can hear the Gospel in a way that they may never have before and it can change their eternity. Thank you for being a part of that!

I was born in Pennsylvania and I grew up in that state until the age of 10 when we moved to Delaware. I was born into a ministry family, with my parents in full time pastoral ministry for most of my childhood years. I graduated from Concord High School in Wilmington Delaware where I played football and led a Youth Alive club.

From High School I went on to attend Valley Forge Christian College to study Youth Ministry and Theology. At Valley Forge I met my future wife who was from Massachusetts. Following my Junior year, I made the move to Massachusetts to start in full-time ministry and I married my wife Katie just a couple years later.

We served in full-time ministry for over ten years in both kids and youth ministry leadership. We have two wonderful children - Tyler, age 14, and Molly, age 9. Tyler loves sports and Molly is into gymnastics and performing arts.

I am a fierce football fan and I am very involved in coaching at a local high school in Worcester, MA. I have been coaching High School football for eight years, as well as baseball and youth basketball throughout the years.
