Step 1: Affirm the FCA Christian Community Statement
Step 2: Complete a Ministry Leader Application (MLA)
To fulfill an official role with FCA, we need you to complete a Ministry Leadership Application “MLA” for us. After the MLA is approved, you will receive an email stating that you have completed the process. This ensures the safety of our students both physically and spiritually. It also makes sure that you and your huddle are covered by our insurance during FCA related events.
The MLA will only take a few minutes to complete. (If you have completed this before, Skip this Step)

Step 2: Complete Online E3 Discipleship Training
FCA's Game Plan for Discipleship is to ENGAGE, EQUIP and EMPOWER, you to use sports as a means to meet coaches and athletes right where they are to bring the word of God and the gospel to them, in their environment.
E3 training gives you tangible steps you can take to start making disciples and it isn't as complicated as we tend to make it in our own minds. The secret to FCA? ...Just start! Our staff here in Massachusetts and the other Mobilized Volunteers are here to support you and to provide community for you as you seek to serve God through sports. You will never be alone in your service with FCA. WE ARE FAMILY!
Step 3: Get Connected to or start an FCA Certified Program ...There is a place for everyone.

Camps: At each camp or clinic, there are many tasks that need to be completed, such as food coordinator, check-in/check-out, set-up & tear down, cleaning, water crews, and much more.
Committees: With the ministry growing like it is, we are always looking for people lead or join committees like, events, fundraising, camps, Fields of Faith, Coaches Time Out, and more.
Coach Focused Opportunities:
Campus Advisor: When a coach takes up the role of a club advisor on campus, the club becomes something really special and more active on campus than when a non-coach sponsors the huddle. Your influence is significant. Be bold.
Camps: You could start your own annual FCA sport specific clinic, or you could offer your time for a day or two during the summer or off-season to just be a coach at an already established clinic. Our camps give you the BEST opportunity to coach for Christ with a biblical perspective, unhindered by the constraints of an administration.
Clubs/Leagues: Start an FCA AAU/travel club team or start an instructional league for younger kids.
FCA has everything you need from operations, to administrative, to program, training and equipment/uniforms for you to live your calling out as a coach in the name of Jesus.
