"One coach has the potential to impact more lives in a single year than most people do in a lifetime."

~ Billy Graham

Coach, you are one of the most influential individuals in our society.  The demands on your time are significant and require a lot of sacrifice. We get it. That is why we make it easy for you to stay connected and growing in your faith even in the busiest and most stressful times.

FCA seeks to equip coaches with a biblical perspective on their calling as coaches through one-one-on discipleship, small group fellowships (Huddles), events and clinics.  All the while, providing resources that empower you to be the transformational coach you have always wanted to be.

Regular fellowship with other FCA coaches will help you find or reconnect you to your "WHY".  We want to help your "WHY" align with your faith in a way that is legal, comfortable and impactful.

Take a big step in aligning your "WHY" with your call to coach by taking the 90 minute, online, 360 Coach Course.

A better way to coach.

You are more than a coach.

You’re a leader.

A guide.

A mentor.

Your athletes look up to you for guidance in every area of life—physical, mental, emotional, relational, financial and spiritual. But, you can’t give what you don’t already have.

HOW FCA SERVES COACHES

  • Coaches Huddles

    What

An FCA Coaches Huddle is a small group Bible Study for coaches that coach teams at all levels on campus and in community club/travel sports. A Coaches huddle can consist of a coaching staff or it can be made up of coaches from various teams.

    Where

The best answer to this question is “Wherever works best for the coaches involved.”  Coaches Huddles meet in a variety of locations including a of rooms/offices on campus, restaurants/coffee shops, homes, etc.  Zoom Huddles have been very successful due to their convenience.

    When

The best answer to this question is “Whenever works best for the coaches involved.” Many times the Coaches huddles on campus meet in the morning before school starts. Other coaches huddles will meet once a week at a pre-determined time (morning, noon or night) and location in the community chosen by the coaches.

    Who Leads?

Coaches Huddles are led by one or more coaches and/or volunteering adults who have a heart for the spiritual and personal growth of coaches.

How Can I Start a Coaches Huddle?

First, complete A Ministry Leader Application.  All adults, coaches or sponsors who lead or provide support need to complete a Ministry Leader Application online.

  • One-on-One Fellowship

Our staff is ready, willing and able to spend an hour or less per week with you early in the morning, during lunch or in the evening.  This can be in person or via Zoom.  FCA will provide all of the content and prayer.  You just show up.

Contact Dan Barnes if you would like to meet with someone on a regular basis.

  • Character Coaches

As a leader you know that you cannot do all things and thus, you need to find resources to help you to carry out your vision for your program.

One of the greatest support resources we can provide to a program is to find, train and provide a volunteer Character Coach for your team(s).

A Character Coach can be one of the most significant partners to you and your staff as you coach the X's & O's, your Character Coach is speaking truths into the hearts and minds of your athletes helping them to sort through the pressures of life, school and athletics.

There are distinct differences between a Chaplain and a Character Coach.  Contact Dan Barnes to learn more about having a volunteer Character Coach on your staff.
