Business executive Jeff Seifert has spent more than two decades building a successful career in global business development. Currently an executive with IBM, Seifert has traveled to more than 35 countries working with both start-up and bluechip organizations.
As a former swimmer and current advanced recreational skier and martial artist, Seifert has a long-standing passion and appreciation for sports. My involvement in sports has provided me with a means to not only to express myself but to develop my character and teach others to know themselves in a deeper way through discipline, hard work and humility,” Seifert says.
Seifert joined the the FCA Northeast board after attending an FCA dinner in his home state of Massachusetts. The program and testimony of a local coach inspired Seifert, who soon began working with the staff and other board members to develop a greater FCA presence in the area.
“The early fruits of FCA in Massachusetts impressed me so much that I wanted to help pioneer the ministry in my state,” Seifert said. “The FCA Northeast regional team has a tremendous heart for the Lord and love for student-athletes.”
Along with his professional and athletic history, Seifert also brings ministry experience to the FCA Northeast board. As the director of a teen mentor program called Exemplar, Seifert works to develop young men spiritually and personally. He and his wife, Barbara, are also trained in marriage ministry and have taught Sunday school classes for junior high students.
Jeff and Barbara Seifert currently reside in Westford, Mass., with their three children: Jared, Jack and Grace.
